Claim Control Procedures

In an effort to reduce the chance of claims upon delivery of loads, we ask all drivers to adhere to the following list of applicable procedures.
  1. If load is refrigerated, confirm that your reefer is working properly prior to loading.


  2. Always make sure adequate space is provided for air circulation in front of load, on top, and between load and rear doors.


  3. Confirm that shippers manifest agrees with what you were told to pick up.


  4. Always verify count unless we have been instructed otherwise.


  5. When you sign your bill of lading, you are confirming that you received the correct count at the correct temperature. Be sure that you agree with the information on the bill of lading. You are responsible.


  6. Be sure product is loaded securely to avoid any damage from shifting.


  7. Please use a minimum of two load locks to ensure load is held in place.


  8. On refrigerated loads check the pulp temperature of freight to confirm product over 38° unless approved by calling our office at 800-247-2514. Confirm temperature of your load is noted on your bill of lading.


  9. Follow the shippers directions on temperature en route, unless otherwise instructed by our office.


  10. All drivers our required to call our office daily between 8 AM and 10 AM Central Standard Time and advise us of your location, your ETA, and when applicable your Box temperature of your reefer, and the pulp temperature of the product at the rear of trailer.


  11. If any problems arise when en route which may affect delivery time or jeopardize the quality of the product notify our office immediately.


  12. If there is any dispute upon delivery notify our office immediately. We feel that if your drivers cooperate and follow the procedures listed we will minimize the chances of a claim.
